GEF provided a complete design-and-build solution for platform CCTV systems across multiple stations on the Piccadilly Line, including civil, electrical, and communications infrastructure.

Project Overview

To enhance passenger safety and improve operational visibility across London’s busy underground network, Green Energy Futures supported the delivery of a full turnkey CCTV solution. The project encompassed design, civil and electrical works, and full system installation across multiple stations on the Piccadilly Line.

The project required seamless integration of CCTV infrastructure into live station environments, accommodating evolving scope requirements and tight timelines while ensuring compliance with London Underground safety and technical standards.

Green Energy Futures delivered a fully managed design-and-build solution, including:

  • Detailed Site Surveys: Assessed each station to define system requirements and infrastructure constraints.
  • Design & Compliance: Produced and submitted full CCTV, FO cabling, and control system designs for approval.
  • Full System Installation: Installed cameras, ducting, power and data infrastructure, and control room equipment across multiple sites.
  • Certification & Handover: Conducted thorough testing, provided NICEIC certification, and delivered complete ITP packages to AD Comms.
  • Agile Delivery: Managed scope expansion to over 20 additional stations during live project delivery.
