As part of a broader initiative to improve air quality within the London Underground network, Transport for London (TfL) launched a trial installation of air purification technology at Baker Street Station. Green Energy Futures provided the electrical infrastructure and support services required for the deployment and evaluation of these purification units.
This high-profile project was designed not only to assess the performance of the purification technology but also to evaluate its feasibility for wider rollout across the network.
Our team was responsible for delivering a comprehensive, end-to-end electrical solution under complex operating conditions within one of London’s busiest and most historically significant stations. Key responsibilities included:
The trial has enabled TfL to collect valuable data on airborne particulate reduction, supporting its goal of improving passenger and staff air quality in underground environments. Our agile approach and deep understanding of TfL’s operational environment were key to the project’s success.
